End Decay???

This might seem like a stupid question, but what exactly is the difference between End Decay and Amplitude Envelope Release. The only difference that I see is that for looped samples if you set End Decay to OFF, the sample will loop... But what, if anything at all, does End Decay do?

end decay works like the decay in akai os or jj os1. it sits at the end of the sample and you move the fade towards sample start with higher values. i think jj explains it pretty well:
