Q-link trick I came up with .

Never made a video, never needed to. But this here is a little somethin I figuered out , and I can't recall ever seenin it done before.

Oh I failed to mention set the Q-lonk to realtime and tune.
And when you hit the pad,always return the Q-link to zero when you want the sample to play all the way threw............. Does this make sense?

Thanks for the tip. I been looking for a way to scratch cut my samples on my VCI-100, but this little MPC trick solves all that for me.

Also for more drastic cut's , Go to program and set the tune to plus twelve of it's original pitch. Then set the Q-link to neg 120. That way even tho the pitch is plus 12, The Q-link trump's it back to zreo.

And you can set the other Q-link to tweak down . I.E. Have the high range set to zero and the low 120. Goin back and forth betwwen the two fader's can be difficult and sometime's make's me wish I had a couple extra hand's.

Sounds good man! Nice discovery. If you search "mpc scratch" on youtube there are a handful of other videos of folks doing similar stuff, but for real, your tune is nice.

Yeah I've seen those videos, pretty cool . But they all took samples of scratches from turntables. I take just straight untouched sample's. No turntables involved.
