Overwrite a project on the mpc1000? (jjos 4.9)

I've read the FAQ and the unofficial manual for the jjos 4.99 but i just can't understand how the saving process work.

Let's say i want to save a project so that the i can load it back again and continue to work on it. Now i want to save it again (to the CF) : what i would do is go to the save mode and go for the SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY as suggested in the various FAQs. But what i don't get is why i can't overwrite the previously saved folder with all its contents?

I have to create a new folder everytime and save the entire memory inside it, and then probably remove the old one... all this just to save some minor (whatever) changes in the project (some new samples, maybe a new program, some new suquence).

I think i'm missing another (quicker, smarter) way to do the same thing... but the manual isn't really straight on this and i'm afraid i might loose my work.

How do you go about saving your projects? Any suggestions?

When choosing save entire memory, just open the already existing folder in the right column with arrows keys and press do it. Hope you'll get it.

that's what i do! but the DO IT button disappears! i have to create a new folder and it comes back.
argh....

you have to go back to the left hand side and have the cursor over "entire memory" before it shows up again.
