1) how can i copy and just one track from one sequence to another sequence?

used to cubase, this is a really easy thing to do, as the mpc is pattern/sequence based i can't work it out! i can copy a WHOLE sequence easily, but not just one track of a sequence to another sequence - any ideas?

2) is it possible to record the track mutes? - it's a good way of arranging tunes, is it possible to record the information of which track is muted so you can fine tune it or whatnot?

3) similar to question 2, is it possible to record the data from "next seq" mode? I use song mode to arrange the order of the track (as you can save and edit it) but can you record the "live" data from next seq mode in any way?

on the JJ OS 2.0.

thanks in advance, if any of my q's are nonsensical i'll try to explain better :D

thanks!

it's a shame you cannot record the sequence from the "next sequence" page - would be better than programming it in the song page i think.

good you can record the mutes though!

cheers all.

I'm not sure about the mutes , but you can record mix changes.
If you go to the mixer, press set up (f4) turn on mix change. You can controll this screen with the Q link , Q link 1 controlls the pan, Q link two controlls the volume.
This is the closest I've been able to rec the track mute. You might have to be real quik and do one thing at a time. But it gets the job done.

yeah track mutes are recordable, then in the track mutes screen, u can playback mutes as recorded, or disabled, see top right of screen.
