Chopping on beat...

What up MPC fam!

just a quick question, how do you guys chop up the samples, let's say in 16 pieces or 32 pieces, and have them fall into place onbeat??
do you guys manually move the start and end points when slicing in trim mode? or is there a way where the MP slices them and they just fall into place onbeat?
