Pattern Editor Documentation?

I cannot find documentation in the manual on using the pattern editor in OS2? I assume because the manual was written before the PE implementation? Does anyone know how I can put a pattern I created into my sequence?

yeh i'd like to know more about it, and wish the velocity range was 0-127
