1.21 JJ OS DIGITAL OUT DOES NOT SEND SIGNAL

I don't know if it's a bug for sure but my mpc jj os2 won't send a signal to my VS2000CD, which i have always used. i called roland and the problem seems to be with my 1k. does anyone have suggestions on what to do or someone contact the japanese jenius a.s.a.p

boot with os1 and see if it works. if it does then its an os2 problem. but i know for a fact that the digi works on os1

thanks for the advice. i tried booting up with jjos1, still no digital output from MPC 1000. i made sure the VS2000 was at 44.1 16bit sample rate. i connected a brand new digital cable (not a normal rca). it does work digital out from the VS2000 to the digital in of the MPC1000 , the VS just doesnot recognize my MP. i called akai and did the hard reset by holding down the erase button while turning the unit on. still nothing. any other suggestions?

no idea man sorry...try connecting your mpc spdif out to another item to see if it gets a signal.

ive been noticing that my spdif cuts out after leaving the mpc on for awhile, just cant seem to get it to synch up after that.
thankfully the machine doesnt lock and I can save the project and a restart brings it back up.
this sounds different tho.
