What do you mean by "Finally" when Dave Smith has had the Evolver out for how many years now?
The MoPHo is mainly a slimmed down (externally and internally) Evolver... well it's a slimmed down
Prophet 8, which is actually a slimmed down PolyEvolver... I think you see the Circle that Dave Smith laid.

But this has been available on the Evolver since OS 3.0.

Evolver was the cheapest until he out did himself and released the MoPHo which is even cheaper.

i use it pretty heavily on my waldorf xt

microkorg has it. 2 lfos, both can be synced to internal or external clock. the delay can also be synced. LFO frequency (1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 3/16, 1/4, etc) and LFO Waveform (square, triangle, etc) can be changed via midi cc.

the desktop evolver would be fun.

Oh yeah, and the kaoss pad 3 has 25 diff't lfo presets. all fx on the kp3 are syncable via ext midi, tap tempo, or audio tempo detection through line in. This is LFO as an effect of course vs a synth with syncable lfo. the kp3 also records your finger movements via 2 midi ccs (x and y).

Just my words. But i tried the Mopho last weekend and it has a KILLER sound!! It must be because it is analog. The Microkorg is my favorit virtual-analog synth!

cool, i've been thinking about the desktop evolver or the mopho as an addition plus they are smaller than a keyboard.

oh gosh tried the mopho today. turned up the sub-oscillators and wet myself.

countless synths have dynamic lfo control and have done for decades, what an utterly pointless thread, there's 30 seconds i'll never get back.
