I had a great idea to get more and better inst programs for the OS2. I just thought, that a inst prgm for the OS2 and the NN-XT Sampler use the same files. So you're able export the NNXT patches, get the note files and then create a new prgm for the OS2 with them. And this would be also possible with the NN-19 sampler from reason. What do you think?

get a program called refill-unpacker. you can then extract the wavs from the nnxt progs and build your own instrument progs. don't think that an automatic thing would work, b/c those programs almost all have velocity layers, and the jj doesn't support them for instument progs.

also... a lot of the programs for the nnxt etc. are really massive. multiple velocity layers and long decays on the samples etc. if you could load everything from even a piano prog you'd be looking at a huge drain on your ram. but i've been extracting multi-patches from refills for a long time, and it works well just as long as you know where to cut the fat.
