jjos 2 versus jjos 3.08

I went hog wild and purchased jjos 2, but now I see that jjos 3.08 is free.
What's the difference between the two? I'm assuming that os 2 is more complex
and has better features...maybe.

Another question. I bought the $40 tutorial manual with the bonus section that
is a step by step guide to os 3.08, but I'm wondering if a lot of that info can be
applied to os 2. The os 2 manual is a bit harder to decipher and I'd love if I could
use the awesome tutorial guide as a crossover manual. Is that a possibility?

U have jjos 2? Don't u dare to think of jjos 3.08 again.

The free version is very similair to the akai os. They fixed the bugs in there and added a few things like global program editing, grid edit, improved chop function and better load and save menu.

well i'm kind of in the same boat. I'm just learning my MPC, a noob if you will. I bought the same tutorial, I feel like it is really helping me with the basics of this machine, a foundation. I also just bought JJOS1, and a lot of the stuff can applied to that as well.

IMO, I think the free JJOS along with the tutorial will provide a good foundation of knowledge so that eventually I will be able to really digest the features and benefits of JJOS2 and JJOS2XL....and in the end make some hot tracks.
