yo! I do a normal sequence with a sample chopped into 16 pieces then i record the drums and all that so lets say that I have a sequence that i would use in the song. now i want to do a sequence for the referen so again i want to chop another sample into 16 pieces and record the drums and so on , but when i chop my referen sample into 16 pieces it says "insufficient memory" and ok, i 'm going to buy some new memory(cause now i've got 16 mb) but i think there should be some way of making a beat that has a couple of sequences containing different samples without changing the memory. the same is when i want to make a beat with only one 16-sliced sample and a bass . everything's good when i record the sample ,but when i want to load bass sounds i can only load a couple of them not all because of the "insufficient memory". PEACE!!!!!

as you said you need more ram. but until then you jus gotta manage your samples, only sample what you need, no point in having 16chops if your only using 2-3 of them.

yeah but i have two sequences from an old record that are similar but in the second one there is some more instruments you know so the second one's good for a refereen. and i chop them into 16 in order to have both samples properly looped and to have all the kicks and snares from my beat hitting exactly the kicks and drums from the sample ... I'm only wondering because i ddn't know when you buy an mpc you'll have to buy new ram and ish to run it properly ...

Gotta get 'em, bro. The MPC is not a one-stop hit making machine. For instance, you also need samples.... :)
