Purging unused samples

Does the purge unused samples function work in the JJ OS ? Because i continuosly do it but it doesn't purge any of the unused samples. Can anyone help pleaase.

Ive never had any problems with purge, in akai os or JJ. Make sure the samples you want to delete are not being used in a program (even if you're not using the program). If they are you'll need to delete the program first then purge.

are you clearing them from the pads? If the sample is still assigned it wont purge

Yeah, it doesn't purge all sounds not used in the beat, i.e. recorded to a track. Like said above, it's only for sound's not assigned to any program/pad.
