To start with: Im all new to this (2 days experience in MPC world) + I'm not the best in english (from sweden).
Can I plug in my M-Audio Keystation 49e so I can get my sounds from VST's in Cubase to the MPC 1k? Cause if i understand the thing right I cant do this if the power comes from the USB plug in, but can I in this case buy a DC 12V Adaptor and then plug it to the outlet?
Does it work? Or are there any other solutions than buying a new midi keyboard? (This shit is 2 months old). If I have to buy a new one, what specs does it have to have? You have any suggestions?

USB
DC 9-12 V
If info necessary I have JJ OS1 the newest version...
