Hi!
I've got a mpc 1k with the latest jjos.
I searched the whole inet and both manuals, but i didnt find anything about muting pads.
Only Trackmuting :( Is there any chance to mute a single pad?
I have one track with drums, and only want the snare for example...
please help :D

That is not possible. You have to put every sound on a different track.

in OS 1 and (i believe OS 2) you can do this with the qlinks.
set one of the qlinks to note on / velocity and then set the target to whatever pad you want to mute. then hit the after button and now you can overdub the sequence using the qlink to mute out that single pad whenever you want.

...apparently they took this out in os2xl though so now qlinks can only target tracks instead of single pads, which would bring you back to your original problem. so if you got os2xl you're still sh/t out of luck...
