i have the same problem men. i use to work in os1 and when i switch it to os2xl pad relation with midi notes change. do to this, my os1 programs trigger other notes in os2xl. my seq sound diferent couse of that.
i do copy the pads note number table of os1 and try to remplace in midi note assign page on os2xl and don´t know how to seve in memory to remplace the default load asignments.
i think saving a program whit solve the problem but i cant edit those f... numbers in program window.
next will be the problem with de diferent amp velocity atack relation....... f.... i hope solve it soon.
good luck
nobody note this? i think i´m late and its too ovious but its the 7 page of the forum and nobody asq, only you my dear ;)

Make a new program, apply the note numbers you'd like, and save it on you CF or HD as a default program so you'll never have to change the parameters again.

I created a program like this for midi.

But there is no other solution, and the stupid thing is that JJ apply the 36 number to the A01 pad, instead of the 35 number wich is a basic value...

it's more basic for general midi programs. in that case, either have someone upload a default GM2 program saved in os1/os2 and load it in os2xl, that'd likely work. i don't know much about that anymore because i no longer change my midi output stuff now that everything is (finally) defaulted to chromatic.

yes i read that. i the way is manually. but when i record notes from my midi controler plug to mpc. it reproduces another notes!!! wow, nice jj? i love the tools but, meke me loose a lot of time editing an reediting my previos os1 works. the million dollars question is: how to save the midi map reassing relations in mode pad 9. you can´t.
user can change de midi out note of a pad, but the play note of a seq also changes! shi... thas why i play something on my controller a mpc reproduces trigger other notes... its a mess i hope i understand bad.
and note number 00-35 an 100-127 cannot be changed!
why? its not cool.
do enybody use a key plug to mpc and note This?
thanks bros
sorry, but jjo2xl chromatic modify sucks
