Hello, I have this problem:
The load screen's sample preview plays back the samples about twice as loud as the actual song is. I've nearly lost my hearing couple of times when making music with earphones.

I always try to keep the program and mixer levels as high as possible, so shouldn't the sample preview's volume be equal to those programs/tracks? Is there a mixer channel that the sample preview is routed to? (So that i could drop the level for that track for at least 50%) I really don't know where the look at. What am i doing wrong, can someone help me please? Thank you.

yeah, this is pretty rough... i think there is no way to level it down. you just blow your head off 6 or 7 times, then you'll remember turning it down on the master-knob forever. it's the same in trim mode. the sample plays as loud as it is without going through any mixer channels.

i learned to work around it but now that you mention it again ... it sucks!

Ok, thanks guys!
This "keep-your-right-hand-always-on-the-master-volume-knob" -position should really be introduced and pictured on the mpc-manual's first pages among all the other installing/startup precautions! :)
