The program name and holder name which were edited at the last were memorized.

Finally, the chop polyphony got correted. That was driving me nuts! Now, the chop controls have to be changed back to the original layout and then I'm happy again!

Does this mean the OS automatically names a new folder you create? I can't wait to try this tonight... I was quietly hoping for something like this. Nice touch JJ. :D

I keep switching back and fourth between 2 and 2XL. I love a few of the options that were taken out of ver 2 like the lpattern loop editing, and the tune option in regular pattern editing... I know theres another biggie, but I cant think of it right now... But I love that you can just load up whatever version you want, then load the project that goes with it. Ver. 2XL is amazing...

same here. i'm not afraid of learning more stuff and breaking some routines but i don't feel comfortable with some of the changes, mainly the new simult pad.

If people don't let JJ know it's not preferred he won't know to change it back.

WTF... Did anyone figure out what the "New Program name/New folder name" change is all about? It doesn't seem to be what I wrote earlier...

i didn't test it yet but i think if you name a pgm or folder and press 'do it', it's copied to internal memory so you can just paste it to another pgm or folder-name.
i asked for this like one year ago, because i always rename one or more pgms, then safe them to a folder with the same name. now you have a shortcut because you don't have to copy the name of the pgm, it's memorized as you press 'do it' after renaming.

does this make sense?

yeah thats a little more helpful, i used to make a habit of c&p'ing a name at the project start, so that any subsequent file/folder/seq/prog creation etc could be named in one button push.

Uh oh... wait a minute. Is the blue writing on this page a new addition by JJ? If so, I believe this change is not what we all thought it was.

But then again... check out what they wrote in blue on this page:
"Note
The folder name edited at the last is memorized.
Therefore, name into which New folder name was edited at the last is displayed by a default."

Transpose is'nt working:

as a shortcut around the new simul i tried just copying the track and transposing , or changing the pad and nothing happens. I've reported it to jj.
By dtaa pla muk Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:34 pm
could you be more specific? i was transposing on 1.06 last night and it was working fine
