except for the fact that my links are 100% relevant

(well at least they were at the time of posting, seems the JJ OS site has changed since then. My linked site contained a link to the old OS downloads)

I imagine it will be back up once OS2XL for 2500 is released

edit: yep, check the main site

http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/mpc2500/

Jan 20 will be when you will be able to download them again

exactly why i posted the request in the nikuf first place, dya think i didnt check before posting?

nowhere to be found, no files any more,

i even tried those historical web archives, even they were depleted of actual binaries. but the links/names et al still intact.

the thing is though

when I posted that link they were there, there was a link on the JJ website for the old 2500 OS1 and OS2

not just the standard links, it was a special page that addressed the new complaints about OS1 and OS2 being removed from the website

that site has since been removed apparently

from the thread that I linked to:

Thank you, JJ!

"Notes
If the password of XL is entered, OS1 (Ver5.56) and OS2 (Ver1.22) can be used without a password.
Please download OS1 and OS2 which can be used with the password of XL from the following site."

after it said "following site" there was a link to a page with the old OS downloads

this was all on the page that I linked to in my first post

I wasn't just being a smartass like 'It's all here on the JJ page dummy!' -- the shit was honestly there when I made that post

like I said in the last post though, it looks like they will be back up on the 20th

maybe he's not going to require that people with the 2500 buy os1 first. but hell just charge 115 bucks for it anyway. and by removing the prior os files it requires you to go to the top with it and pay.
