getting "BLOCK VER.1.03" on start up

i recently sold my mpc1000 with jjos on ebay and before i shipped it out everything was in perfect working order, but the buyer has emailed me saying he gets this error message "BLOCK VER.1.03". Can anyone elaborate what this means or a solution to it?Thanks

get him to reseat the ram and make sure none of the big start/stop/record etc buttons are being pressed down on bootup
