thought i'd flag this up as i've not seen it mentioned anywhere..
i was fiddling around with the filters using 0s2xl - but it should work with any OS -
load up any sample - set filter to high pass - set value low (between 7-12) so that it cuts off the lowest frequencies - put RES to between 97 and 100
= silly bass
if theres a bit too much bass - but you have the right tone - you can use ther second filter (os dependant) to cut off the lower frequencies and it keeps the tone
it worked nice with drums and samples.
maybe everyonme knows about this and im just stupid - if thats the case - please explain to me how cutting off the low frequencies boosts them (i can only assume that im max resonating the bottom frequency)
