Hey. Okay so on my memory card I have folders, such as "kicks" "snares" etc.
I have a bunch of things loaded onto it.
so when I want to make a song, say on Sequence 01. I will load the desired kicks, snares etc. then build a program and start making my song on sequence 01. Now when i go to save that song. Say I am finished and I want to save it, or I am still woring on it and want to come back to it later, but want/have to turn off my MPC.
I go to save. and then I save the sequence 01, as "Song In Progress" or what have you. and then it asks me a bunch of things like "save samples?" "save programs?" etc.
Do I want to "Save Samples". aka if i hit Yes, will that REsave the samples i already have. Also, do I want to save the programs. Or when I save the sequence, does it remember the programs and load them up when I load.
Consequently, after learning how to save. waht is the proper way to load it so I have everything right there, ready, and in place.
If someone could break this down to me, it would save me a lot of frustration. Ive already lost 2 songs...and it's just discouraging.
Thank you!
ps i AM using the JJOS on my MPC1000
