where is the chop (on / off /#) info actually saved?
the settings are obviously adjusted in trim first, but then the GPE has the ability to edit chop#.
so if i get a load of samples - make a program with them all.....
then i want to copy the program - the copy to be similar - but with choppy capability, i go to the samples in it - set up their chop to on.
if i was to save both programs, their samples are obviously shared, but now with chop on. so the behavior of the one that was employed to use non-chop samples is gonna be wrong.....
therefore do i really need to duplicate all the samples now? seems a waste of space - ie: if things were a bit different, the program could control the 'deployment' of the chop function on samples used elsewhere in other non-chop programs.
