I´m just wondering what JJ OS have to offear to the real users... What u do with it that u can´t do with the akai original ? Is it better on timeclock or MTC midi synch ?

I've noticed that even with the free JJOS(3.08 I think), the MTC functionality is far better than the Akai OS. :D

For me it is workflow. On the Akai OS I could make a beat in lets say two hours.... on JJOS I can make the same beat in 30 minutes. You can chop samples faster, edit programs faster, edit pitch faster, edit sequences faster, etc, etc.

For me it is more speed rather than features, but there are nicer features as well. You can even name things way faster in JJOS. All of these features becoming more efficient even a little bit cut down the time it takes to make a track.... which is a wonderful thing.

i switched to the jjos a few weeks ago and love it. chop time umm, chopped in half and makes work flow great.

i do have a question for the users of other versions of the jjos for the 2500...( i have the free version jjos 3.08 up and running)

i understand there are other version of the jjos available for the 2500 but require a password for a user to download. i have no problem with paying for the other versions, but if i already have the free version, do i need to upgrade????
