New to JJ, problem with realtime overdubbing

Yesterday i finally got my MPC to sync to Logic and after two hours of pristine operation it suddenly went all crazy on me. When turning on overdub it instantly stopped at the end of the sequence playing on after that not recording. Recorded notes where only played back after stop/starting the sequence and erasing in overdub erased everything instantly when pushing erase without even touching a pad. The track was a midi track to 10B(My 808), looping was on and set to all, sync midi time code, listening to Logic 8 with MMC on.

Does anyone have a clue which parameter i should change to get my MPC back to normal? I dont have a clue as to what happened or what i did wrong...

I love JJ but when coming from a 2000XL it is somewhat of a puzzle at times...

is the sequence on loop or no?
