To all:

I still have not purchased JJOS for somereason or another I have be reluctant until now.

If from what I research over the past month is true I will purchase a copy.

Is it possible to setup a instrument program meaning grabbing a sample note then create an instrument program and have it span across 88 keys?

with out any pitch change manually?

This is something that i have not had a clear understanding as of yet.

I do not like Akai's OS but again I did not like the 3000 or the 2000's either and still made some impressive music over the years.

all info will be greatly appreciated..

Spanning 1 sample across a key range in JJOS (1,2,2XL)
YES -> 2/2XL has key groups in INSTRUMENT programs, which are even better as you can use multiple samples to construct a program. A little tedious, but once you work your way around it the results are much better.

Without any pitch change manually...
JJOS will handle using the sample and auto chromatically assign the sample with the pitch changes for you across all of the pads.

You can install and try the JJOS range on your MPC for free, you just cannot save. You can learn a lot about it and answer a lot of your questions by just trying it out. If you don't like it you can always reinstall the original Akai OS.

Happy beat making...
