OS 1 Q-link question

In Os 1 I have a sequence. Drums on track 1. Q-link assigned to tune. I tune the whole drum track with the slider. Every time I restart the track from the beginning the tune of track 1 is reset. I can record a q-link movement into the track to tune the drums but I want it to start from 01.00.00 or the very start so that my drum tracked is pitched correctly from the beginning.
Any suggestions?

just pitch it in PROGRAM edit screen. Q-links are better used for values that you want to change over time. other wise, you have to give the Q-link a little twitch at the beginning so that the value is recorded into the sequence. nothing will be recorded if the Q-link isn't moving. so in this situation, better to just do it in PROGRAM or even STEP EDIT.
