Hi I just posted this in a different section of the forum but then realised it's probably better to ask here... sorry for clogging the board....
I was wondering if anybody can answer this question thats been in my head for a long long time...
Basically I can make a beat on the mpc but I've never had the mpc (2500jj) hooked up to a computer, I've never outputted tracks seperately onto a computer software, I wouldn't know where to begin...
Saying that, my question is this - if I want to output my song at a high quality, for instance to give someone a high quality copy on a CD to listen to, or if I want to sell a beat and give the best copy to the buyer, how would I go about doing that?
Currently all I do is resample the entire song through the MPC, and it is saved in WAV format, and then I USB that over to my PC so I can listen to it on there.
Is this WAV of any good quality? How can I know? The volume of the wav song on my computer never seems to as good as if I play a professional recording on my comp, for instance.
Can someone tell me whether the wav is any decent quality, how to get it loud with clarity, how to make sure its the right bit-rate etc, and also whether a WAV would be an acceptable format if I was to attempt to sell a beat?? Does the quality change when i USB it to my computer? Any other things I need to know for a generally high quality copy of a song?
I'm sure someone knows what I'm getting at - I have looked around the forum for answers but I hoped posting these questions would get me a more specific answer!
Thanks in advance........
