I have not yet installed it yet. I am totally lost about how it all works. I have been browsing the site all day.

I want to have OS2. Please can someone help me out because from what I can gather I NEED XL for my 2500. If I do I cannot afford that.

How do I pay for the password for OS1 and if I pay for that password do I have to buy another for OS2?

Piss take if they want $117 for it. What happened to the $39 password that I've been reading about? Or is that for the XL? This is the problem I cannot figure out how to pay for the password for OS1/OS2.

I've installed the JJOS for 2500. I dont get why I need to pay though, I can use the save function.

They need a more usable website to be honest.

im afraid its ultimately up to you... if youre an mpc bone head like some people then its the best os to have and for what it adds personally i think the price is warranted. have fun!

oh and if you wanna ask some more developed questions then you could gain some respect here but if you dont put some effort into the whole 'i got a question' process, then youll likely be told to 'rtm' (sometimes theres an f in there, sometimes not... this is one of those times where its not). anyway, may the journey bring to you new light, new color, new dimension

It sounds like you're using the free JJ os, 3.09 or whatever it is? For any other os you will have to buy XL (which is excellent), but you will then have the option to switch to 1 or 2 without paying extra.

The translation from Japanese causes a few problems but you get used to it. It's just a question of whether you want or need the extra functions that are in XL...

Tbh, I'm loving the extras in 3.09. I'll probably stick with this for a while. Will get XL as soon as I get a job.

I started off with 3.09 as it came pre-installed by the fella I bought my 2500 from, but I made the switch to XL a few weeks back. Just be aware that any projects you create now in 3.09 wont transfer the same once in XL. The sounds will all be there but you will have to tweak your programs to tune them back up.

If you can afford it you wont look back.
