DO I HAVE 2 BUY THE FIRST OS FOR BUY THE JJOS2XL ?

i dont have any os on my mpc can i straight download the JJ OS2XL or do i have 2 download first the ohter version's and pay them all aswell ?

If you own a 1000, you need to buy OS1, OS2, and then OS2xl in that order. I don't think there's a package deal (I just checked and thought there was at some point).
However, if you own a 2500, you only have 1 choice, which is to buy the OS2xl package. For some reason, the sale of OS1 and OS2 separate for the 2500 no longer exists (which is unfair in my opinion).

I think on the 2500 it uses the same password. Otherwise if JJ sold OS1 it would unlock OS2/XL.

Not saying it is fair, but I think there is a technical issue with it unfortunately.

Maybe a financial issue?

Sorry I tried searching but can someone post the newest link for purchasing the newest version of JJOS2XL for the MPC2500!

yea if you have os2 then xl is a free upgrade. because it uses the same password system as 2. but if you dont then you need to purchase the whole shabang. i think the whole pricing structure is a joke anyway. but thats another thread. and i dont want nym getting all pissy with me again.

I bought XL with no complaints I have been using Akai MPC's for over 14 years and this OS is by far the best ever! **** with anyone says!
