Which JJOS?

I'm thinking of picking up an MPC1000 and am wondering which version of JJOS I should get?

Start off with the free one, 3.08 . The manual will still make sense, the jjOS is just better. Once you got 3.08 down, the transition to 4.99j (OS1) will be easier. You have to buy OS1 before you can even try OS2 or 2XL. Hit the JJOS Stickies for specs. See what you want to use.

AND I just realized I'LL probably get flamed for answering such a non-researched question. Just sayin. There's mad stickies and posts.
