tune via midi?i

i'm trying to figure out if i can use an external midi cc message to control the q fader or tune on a specific sample. I'm using mpc1000 and free os. is this possible?

I don't think it's possible, MPC can send out CC's you use for the Q-links, but can not receive CC's for Q-links
If you use '16 level' for Tune of a sample and record that, it will be in 'MPC' format, not CC's.

on the paid for versions there is some (although limited) control like this:

the mpc responds to pitch bend, and this too:

MIDI CC Number02 or 74 ==> Filter Cutoff
MIDI CC Number71 ==> Filter resonance
(Only active track )
It is added to the value of a program.
