i just got an mpc1000 with the new pads and purchased OS1 4.99. i have adjusted pad sensitivity as per the manual.
heres my issue:
if i have a 4 bar seq in 4/4, tc set to 16th notes, full level is off, click is on and i manually record 16th notes on one pad, when i play the seq back, some of the notes are inaudible. upon closer inspection, they are actually recorded as having a velocity value of 1.
if i do the same thing, but turn tc off, this does not occur. sometimes when i turn tc back on, it happens again.
seems related:
lets say i am playing 16th notes on one pad and i have full level ON, i can hear that some of the notes i am hitting are not being played.
i can get around this by using note repeat instead of playing the notes, but i prefer the feel of playing the notes. also i should note that these issues did not occur with the latest version of the AKAI os.
is this a bug or am i missing something? i will admit to having trouble understanding the non-native english in the manual.
peace
