Do you use a footswitch? And if so what for?

See my bug report in the bug thread. It seems like two of the most important footswitch functions just don't do anything at all...

yes the rec/start overdub/start functions don't work, noticed that.

i'm using a footswitch with the overdub/punch function. very nice, because you can keep on playing the pads and start record overdub

That is a nice way to do it... you're playing the pads with your sequence (which is looping), and then just hit the pedal and continue whenever you're ready.

The reason I'm focused on the REC+Start is for starting Audio Tracks hands free (playing guitar)

I play guitar as well. But never taken advantage of the footswitches on the MPC... just strumming with nothing in the background.
I need to buy a new mic and place it in front of my tube amp.
Time to see what mic/preamp deals are out there. 8)

1.15 has crashed on a few times but i dont know the exact problem. Ive used footswitches a little ( for start/stop and f keys) i need to try out the overdub ones though.

Id like there to be an pad bank A>B>C>D option for the pedal, that scrolls through all the pad banks. a program up/down option would be cool as well, i.e. the program on the active track goes up or down to the next program when you hit a switch. Just things that'd help for live jamming with the pads.
