Yo...I'm using JJOS and I'm trying to set my pads to cut each other off when a new one is triggered...but I can't find this in the manual. Any tips? Feel free to just direct to a page in the manual, I know this is pretty basic shit but I've forgtten how to do it and can't figure it out.

im looking for exactly what you are. i haven't found it yet. but i found
that changing from poly to mono only cuts off the sound if your using the same
pad. if you go from one pad to another and they're both set to mono they still wont cut off each other.
im stumped. :( sorry if this sounds confusing. didn't know how else to word it.

Upper right corner...

This actually brings up something that I've kind of wanted in the Mp that use to be available on older samplers. On my Roland S-550 you could allot a specific number of voices to a certain sample. This is really good for cymbols and especially rides... Just a thought.

set the program to mono not the pads

or for finer control use mute groups

it's all in the manual

for poly/mono settings i think it's pages 73 and 74
