Please, Please Help, Loading Project :.(

Can sombody please help Me, I payed alot of Money for My Mpc, I want it to run right,
Im having massive dificulities loading my work,

I save an entire memory, and replace files,

I then switched off the mpc, and back on again, And proceded to load my project,

aFTER i load my project, I go to the main page, thinking im gonna have all my samples and sequences loaded, but all i have, Is pROGRAM 1 program 2 Program 3 etc, etc with no sign of my samples, or seq,

this is just depressing me, and its no platform for confident beat making,

I can only suggest that My machine is broke

Can anybody please shed some light

when you go to the save screen make sure that you have the option of "save enitre memory" highlighted then hit save.

then when loading a project instead of going into the folder and loading the project file just hit load on the main folder itself and all will load up for you.

i had this same problem but now is sorted.

Make sure you make a New Project Folder, Name It, then navigate to it, and Save Entire Memory.

Make sure your Programs do not have any incompatible files assigned to them.

I did try to make a new folder, but when i try select new, the mpc pauses for a bit, then it eveuntualy allows me to name the new folder, but when i hit enter, it says file allready exists??

I think it must be broke ???

Cheers Bro, Yea man, I got the JJOS version, the first one, not the free one, I recon I might have issues wid my flash card,

Bought this ish off ebay (the mpc wid the flash card) So im worried it may be broke, Ive formatted the disc and everything, still no joy, I dont know why it tells Me folder exists, after i try and name a new one, when it clearly dosent,

Im greatful for Your insight though bro, This ish is kinda depression, I jus wanna make beats man. lol, But wid the thought of things not being saved hanging over me, It kinda puts up a mental barrier, witch smothers creativity!

im using the same jjos as you (4.99) i think.

are you formatting the CF card in side the MPC. thats how you should do it.

if that dont work I have a kingston 2gb CF card and i know they work fine. got mine for like £4 or £5.

from the Uk though. ok for me as im in the UK.

have you played with the jjos xl2 (or whatever it is lol)

i wanna do the switch but wanna know if its that much better than the 4.99 version.

Cool Man, I dont know too much bout the latest versions of jjos, But from the version we have, man its nuff better then the akai, the thing that excites me most, Is the new q link features, man thats serious, could do sum turntablisem with them lol,

I deffo want the best opperating system going, So im gonna upgrade one day, also, cheers for the heads up on that flash, im livin in uk also,

Were did you purchase that??
