F6 Bug on MPC2.5k + JJOS 3.09

Sometimes when I press the F6 key it goes to the effects window and it's not in the mixer window or anywhere else where it should do that... It's really aggravating. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm on the 2500 using JJOS 3.09.

Please give a step by step detailed explanation so it can be reproduced.

I can't really. It's in a different window every time it happens. It seems to happen if I press the F6 button too much or too hard. Could it be just a glitchy button? If so why does it only go to the effects window?

I just tried to reproduce it and it went into the track mute window? I loaded a project, hit mode pad 14 step edit, arrowed down to a step, hit F6 to play the step, and it opened the track mute window. Weird!

i know this very well, even in xl 1.16 this is not fixed, it's jumping to any screen after pressing a f-key from time to time, often in load screen. maybe it's hard to fix cause it's randomly happening and not reproduceable..

yea, I get that mostly when loading. A while ago nym had a thread goin about random screen jumpin in certain os versions...

YES! this happens to me as well. mostly either when trimming a sample and pressing F6(edit) and it jumps to the fx/mixer window.. and also when renaming something and hitting F6(enter) and it jumps mostly to the same fx/mixer screen.

Im usually so deeply involved that I just quickly go back to where I was previously with no bother.
the only time it REALLY PISSES ME OFF... is when i am renaming something with a long name and hit enter and loose the name and have to redo it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

This happens to me as well on JJOS1. It's usually not a big deal unless i'm in the chop menu and just chopped a large sample and press 'do it' to convert to slices and it goes to the next sequence screen and loses the chops!

don't you hate when your chopping a huge sample(32-64 chops) adjusting every start end point ever so finely, then accidentally roll your hand over main, or some other button that jumps to the main screen.. <UTHA^UKKAH!! then you end up doing the quickest/roughest chops coz your that pissed. i've lost count now 40+ time for sure!

but i have not had this issue from what i remember, i'm on 0s1 5.56 now. i was on the old skool jj for ages, didn't want to change coz there were barely any bugs..

anyone get this tempo bug i just posted.
