Change sequence via cc

Is it possible to change a sequence playing on the mpc via midi cc?
For example to send an command from ableton to the mpc to change to sequence no. ## ??

you can change sequences with program change messages.

but not after recording without htting the stop button first.

yes, but like mikolo said: you will need to send a PROGRAM CHANGE instead of a MIDI CC.

check out MODE + PAD 9 (MIDI/SYNC)

"sequence change by program change" - turn this ON.
