tempo bug 2500 os1 5.56

when i get really fast changing gpe settings usually, the tempo drops by around half, or jumps down anywhere from where it's at. so if it's 98bpm and im changing attack/decay or filter settings quickly(with or w/out 'whole' on) it might drop by a handful or by half, very erradic.. happens in grid edit too, so it doesn't discriminate.

shlts me coz it happens every 5-10 seconds sometimes, i'll be constantly bouncin back to the main screen to change the ****! i'm just too quick for my mpc now i guess. i have too slow down to a steady pace. especially annoying if you forget the tempo.

anyone else get this? ???

_________

the mpc been skippin and jumpin when i got like 24+ tracks in a sequence, a couple midi, and 8 audio tracks used up.. i tend to work in one sequence alot for 2-3 beats, then copy & chain later.

& on another note, i been using midi alot more lately(only a few channels) but sometimes the first note will not get played...(w/fantom) anyone know whats up with that?

I'm not on OS1 anymore but regarding your tempo problem, in that screen :

have you checked if the tempo is not related to a pad?
Otherwise, I couldn't find it in the online manual but check if there's something on mode + pad 4
Hope that helps. PEace

i don't use tap tempo at all since it hasnt been on the actual button(although i'm sure it's better to tap a pad), never needed it anyways.. but i'll check that out, i mentioned the problem a few weeks ago someone else said something about tap tempo.... so i'll look into that.

thanks mayne!
