I have been looking around on the JJ comparison chart, as well as in the OS n OSXL manuals and cant seem to find anything about this. (then again I havn't slept in two days)

I always thought it was crazy that on the 2500 you can stack 4 sounds on a pad, but not select to play them in Cycle mode like on the mpc5000.
do any of the JJ os's allow for this? Im on 3.09 free until I get warranty work done on my 2500, but JJ os2 is on the top of my list, and Im curious about this feature.

Also when I say cycle mode I specifically mean having lets say 4 different hi hats assigned to one pad, and you must hit the pad four times to hear all four hi hats.

yeah it would.
I cant understand why this has not been implemented yet. it seems like a really easy feature to add.
Especially where JJ os is concerned.

i feel you to. i guess im a had to keep doing it in ableton and use the 1k as the midi controller. just really wasnt trying to use two programs at one time. cause i use scratchlive in my main window, ableton in the bckround. it works well. but not really trying to do it that way. to much prep you have to do. i just wanna get it done.
