Hello,
I have a problem remapping the pad to midi notes (I'm on JJos2).
I want to remap the pads so they're in a chromatic scale, going up from c1 on pad A1, c diesis on pad b1 and so on.
So that when I play a sequence or I trigger some software or hardware instrument I can have a rough idea of what note will come out.
Now, if I press mode+pad 9 then I select note, I can see how the notes are currently mapped to the pads, but the way they are mapped do not make any sense to me.
I thought that pressing selecting RESET then MAIN it would place then in ascending order.
It didn't work, so I did it manually, then pressed main and behold, my changes were lost.
Am I missing something or it is not possible to do what I'm trying to?

In the MAIN screen, move your cursor so it is over the midi note indicator (just to the right of where it shows what sample you have assigned to the pad) and press the WINDOW key. In the next screen, press the RESET tab, then press the 35-98 tab. Done.

It's a good idea to make an autoload program with these settings so that it will be like that every time you turn on the mpc.
