problems in trim mode

Hey guys, I'm using both JJOS1 and OS2 and in both I seem to be having the same issue. When I go to trim mode and cut off the end or beginning of a sample like I want, I then discard that section. I save the sample and program thinking it's all trimmed exactly like I want it, but the next time I load the beat up, all my sample trims are gone and the samples are back the way they were before I did any trims. Is there some setting I need to switch off that I'm not seeing that will allow my edits to be permanent?

So nobody has this issue? Is this something to do with non-destructive chopping that I'm not catching?

Do you overwrite your samples?
You should try SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY in a new folder, it's the best saving solution.
