effects question

ok so got a nice beat goin on the 1000jjos1. im using pads 1-8 on track 4 to play my samples. now i wanna beef up the sound and add some effects, reverb in particular. how do i add that effect to only those 8 pads on track 4? can i add it to the whole program or do i gotta do it 1 by 1 or am i not even close? help is greatly appreciated.

Mode Button -> Pad 11 -> Button F5

You can do one at a time, or you can do the whole program by pressing F6.
