Fade in, Fade out and get the click out!

dont know if anyone has posted about this before but, ive got a neat little trick in 2xl to minimize clicks on looped samples with no solid rhythmic foundation.... add about 10ms to the start of your sample, then add 10ms to the tail end, highlight the numeric display at the start of the sample and hit the window button, set the end cross fade to \ , now go ahead and set your zero crosses till your sample points touch and you should be good to go... for further effect add a touch of reverb and or a little band pass filter action and your clicks will be all but unnoticeable... hope this helps some of you...

Add 10ms of what... silence?

I'm guessing you mean fade in/fade out, but as is your description is probably going to confuse some of the people who don't know what you're referring to.
