Hey. I'm a bit of a novice, hence the name. So say I pull a sample, maybe an 8 bar piano thingy.
I name it, "keep" it, and then i Mode>Trim.
Now I have an issue...I feel like I'm triming the sample neatly, cuz i take like an hour
...but whenever I slice it, say, into four or eight slices, they aren't on perfectly, yet they should be, if I did it correctly, yes?
I understand that I want to trim it right at the START of the hit. When I am zoomed out, there is a clearly defined "|||||" start of the sample. Yet when I zoom in, I see a slow build up of the sample ".,:|||||" (if you will..) Where do I want to snip it...at the slow build up or at that abrupt START?
AKA how far in do I want to zoom, etc. I just want to make nice clean, smooth looping samples
thanks!
