MPC 1000, Logic 9, Axiom Pro 49 sync issues

Maybe someone has come across this issue and figured it out. I have an MPC 1000 with JJ-OS 2 installed, Logic 9, an Axiom Pro 49, a Roland XV-5080, and an Ensemble as an audio interface. I can record fine from the Roland into the MPC sequencer. I can even play back the sequence as long as I hit the play button on the MPC. I cannot at all get Logic 9 to play the MPC. I have been through countless articles, etc and no luck. This same set up works perfectly in Cubase 5 that I also have installed. I have recently switched to Logic and really prefer that over Cubase. While I could technically do everything in Cubase and transfer the files to Logic that slows down the work flow a lot. Anyone else either have a similar setup (I know midi is midi and it should work no matter what, but...) or know the work around for this. If you can send me your exact sync settings on both the MPC and Logic I will even try that if I haven't already. Thanks to anyone who can help in this.

I figured it. I'm going to post this in hopes that it helps someone after me who may encounter the same problem. If anyone is using any of the Axiom Pro controllers the Midi Out comes set to Kbd Panic. You MUST change this setting to USB Panic or it will not allow Logic to be the master under any other settings. To do this, you hit the Edit button, turn the E1 pot controller until it goes down to Midi Out, then turn the E5 pot controller to set it to USB Panic.
On the MPC 1000 hit Mode, then Pad 9. Under the Midi tab make sure soft thru is set to off. I tried it with the As Track option and it did work also. Under the Sync tab whichever Midi Input you're using is the one you set the Sync In on. If you're connected to 1 on the back then choose 1 here. Set the Mode to Midi Clock. You must also set the Receive MMC to the ON setting. Hit the main button to exit.
In Logic click the settings tab and then click Synchronization. Click the Midi tab. Under Transmit Midi Clock choose Destination 1 and then on the drop down box choose all. Under the Midi Machine Control click the Transmit MMC option. Do not click on the MTC box at all.
These are the settings to use that will allow Logic to be the master and cause the mpc to follow. After days of frustration and finally figuring it out I figured I would post my solution as well as the settings so that anyone new will get a straight answer. Always remember, every pro was once an amateur who once needed help to get to where they are! Good luck..
