JJOS 3.09 and Sampling issues

Not sure why when I sample on my MPC 1000, when I go to play the sample it is automatically pitched down slightly. Why is that? Is it a bug? This is my second MPC 1k and never noticed this.
Any replies are greatly appreciated. I tried looking at other threads.
