8 out question (Please help)

I tried the 8 outs on the MPC25K (JJOS XL) and it gives me a dry sound. No EQ and Compression or FX..

Is their a way I can use the 8 outs with the EQ, Compression and FX

I don't solely want to rely on the stereo outs

And yes, I want to use my mpc compression no external compression.


And if the answer is no then why have the EQ & Compression option on the MPC..

The Master FX section only works on the master outs (L/R). I'm not sure off the top of my head if you can route the insert FX to the other outputs, but it might be worth reading the manual.

At least on the 1000 there is no posibilty to route any of the effects to the individual outs, I would think the same goes for the 2500.

That question is perhaps more valid reversed: Why would you add/need individual outs if the signal processing is done in the box?
If using a total of two different effects plus a master effect, with no intention to process anything outside the MPC why would one need to track the signal from other outputs than the master L/R?

So that you can track out more at one time..

Also I did have intentions to process outside the mpc, its that I found a cool way to make my
drums bang hard on the mpc compression, and I wanted to build ontop of what I have on the
mpc processed sound.
