Please do NOT flame this post with RTFM - Real Timestretch

I stopped using my 1000 JJOS after OS2 .84 and recently dusted off my unit and came across a youtube video. i tried to find how to access it and i am lost. I want to use the real time timestretching feature with the qlink sliders and cant figure out how to access it. i spent 2 hours searching through past posts and still cant find it. any help would be appreciated.

I should state that i have updated to OS2 1.30

there is not and never has been any 'real time timestretch' on the mpc 1000/2500.
that sort of thing is WAY beyond the capabilities of the mpcs tiny little cpu.

you might have gotten that confused with 'PATCHED PHRASE', which can accomplish something similar but in a very limited way. check the Akai manual for that because that is entirely their spec. most likely that youtube video was someone using a PATCHED PHRASE' and manipulating the master tempo with a qlink.

Nym posted a video a long time ago that used an idea similar to grain sampling that did a decent 'real time' time stretching for some material. Good luck finding it though.
