hi,
i did a search through the Bug thread, but it's really long and i couldn't find anything about this
i just updated to JJOS XL on my 2500, and i'm having a problem:
when i start a sequence, it is sending out some kind of Midi message (i guess?) to my Dave Smith Tetra synth module - which causes a Patch change. weird thing is, i turned off all Midi CC/Sysex receive options on the Tetra, but the Tetra is totally buggy, so i wouldn't be surprised if it's receiving those messages even though i turned those options off
the MPC is sending out the same message at the start of every sequence i load - ie, it always causes the Tetra to switch to the same patch.
just to be sure, i switched back to JJOS 3.09, and the problem doesn't happen
another weird thing is, if i make a new sequence in XL, it won't send out this Patch change at the start.... it's only on these old sequences that i load up (all of which were created while running Akai OS)
is this a known bug? if so, is there something i can do on the MPC to switch off sending Sysex type messages from the Midi Outs? well, i do actually want to be able to send velocity, but other than that, i won't need to do anything else Sysex / CC wise
any help would be appreciated!!
thx
jason
