Saving with free jjos

Everytime I try and save all programs and samples, its says "System Error" whys is that..what should I do?

i'm just gonna say right now that you've started 3 new threads one after the other with a bunch of newbie questions. i'm gonna save you and this forum some grief and say READ THAT FAQ AT THE TOP OF THIS FORUM! it will answer 99% of your questions. then make sure you don't sleep on the akai manual because there is some basic info in there that still applies to the JJ OS. also, there are the JJ OS manuals on JJs website and the excellent manuals that Stan Steez made (linked at the top of this forum), not to mention doing a basic search of this forum itself.

after that, if you're still stuck. come back here and we'll help you out.

here's a freebie regarding your directory problem: it's related to the file transfer problem you posted in the other thread. you've got to format your card (or mpc hard drive) from the mpc itself using JJ OS. put the cursor over the card/drive in the LOAD screen and hit the WINDOW key. READ THAT FAQ!!
